Match Report
Loughborough Endowed Schools Boys-U16A vs  Norwich School
On: Sunday, 29 Oct 2017
Venue: Away

A beautiful Sunday morning saw some beautiful hockey played by both teams. In a game of two halves the tourists from Norwich started brightly, scoring 2 first half goals. Ben Hilton in goal for LGS made some excellent saves to limit the damage to just the 2 goals.

However, after the break, LGS grew into the game and caused several worrying moments for the visitors. James Young controlled the game from midfield, with Sam France, Jonathan Griffiths and Ben Grundy giving excellent accounts of themselves throughout the game, but especially in the second half. On a different day we could have levelled the score line as the Norwich defence and GK were far busier than the host teams.

Congratulations to all boys who made the effort to turn out during half term, and for such a spirited and skilful performance against an older 1st X1 team.
