Match Report
Loughborough Endowed Schools 2nd XI vs  King Edward VI School, Stratford Boys-U18A
On: Wednesday, 08 Nov 2017
Venue: Away

The Loughborough boys were undone today by a well drilled and organised 1st XI team. With Loughborough still on the bus, the first 20 minutes saw KES Stratford score 4 goals without reply. However, when a stroke was awarded, and then slotted home by midfielder Jamie Olley, suddenly there was a glimmer of hope for the traveling side. At halftime the Loughborough boys were upbeat at the prospect of turning this one round, so off they went like men possessed in the second half. Unfortunately however, their enthusiasm was to be their downfall, with KES Straford counter attacking style taking good advantage of an all too open defence. Great to get so many boys playing in this away fixture, hopefully future fixtures will see them play with the gusto needed throughout.
