Match Report
Loughborough Endowed Schools Boys-U13A vs  Bishop Vesey's Grammar School
On: Saturday, 23 Sep 2017
Venue: at Home

The LGS U13 As produced some promising attacking rugby in a triangular fixture with Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School and Stamford. In their first match with Stamford they came up against a well-drilled and physical outfit, losing 25-5. However the boys showed some fantastic spirit in defence, with Sam Joy leading the tackle count and Tom Hopkins finishing strongly for a well-taken try.

Against Bishop Vesey’s the boys turned on the style, recycling the ball well and creating a strong platform to attack off. Theo Le Jeune always threatened from the wing, and Archer Ingram defended aggressively in the centres. LGS finished the game as 25-5 winners, a positive scoreline against solid opposition.
